Full Moon Yoga

Part of our mission at the Hummingbird Lodge is to provide a space for wellness and healing, that also helps link us to nature.  The biorhythms of Mother Earth and her surrounding celestial bodies are closely intertwined with our own.  Our monthly Full Moon Yoga class is one of the places where we celebrate and honor this connection.

While the New Moon (or Dark Moon) is a powerful time for setting new intentions and planting seeds, the Full Moon is when those ideas and and desires manifest into reality. It is the time when we, like the moon, are at our fullest.  Energy is high, and the fruits of our imagination are ripe for the picking.  While women may physically cycle with the moon, we all feel Her pull.  It is the time when we ALL celebrate our progress.  Set goals for yourself every New Moon, then come gather, practice, and celebrate the fullness of your being with us at the Full Moon.

Classes are typically 90 minutes long, with a short meditation at the end.  Our format may vary depending on the time of year and theme of that particular month's moon.  Students practice poses  while the healing vibrations of our house Himalayan singing bowls bathe the space in sound.

Check out our "Classes" section and pre-register to join us for the next lunar cycle!
